An ontology-based approach to engineering ethicality requirements

چکیده
Abstract In a world where Artificial Intelligence (AI) is pervasive, humans may feel threatened or at risk by giving up control to machines. this context, ethicality becomes major concern prevent AI systems from being biased, making mistakes, going rogue. Requirements Engineering (RE) the research area that can exert great impact in development of ethical design. However, proposing concepts, tools and techniques support incorporation into software processes as explicit requirements remains challenge RE field. paper, we rely on Ontology-based (ObRE) method elicit analyze (‘Ethicality requirements’ adopted name for class studied paper analogy other quality engineering, such usability, reliability, portability, etc. The use term (as opposed ‘ethical requirements’) highlights they represent systems, analogous how ‘trustworthiness trustworthy systems. An Ontology-Based Approach to Use Requirements Engineering in Portals of Transparency
For information technology professionals can develop systems that assist in governance and in meeting the obligations given by the legislation, they need to understand the conceptual basis involved in the complex areas of the problems experienced by local governments. The lack of standardized concepts complicates the process and elicitation of validation requirements for the development of new ...
متن کاملDevOntoCreator: an ontology-based approach to software engineering
This article goal is to present an innovative method to improve the implementation phase of a software development process. This is achieved by an automatic code generation using an ontology definition and an explicit and implicit knowledge of software engineering and web application constructing. The author of this paper proposes the Intelligent Software Engineering using Semantic Network (ISE...
متن کاملAn Ontology Based Information Security Requirements Engineering Framework
Software Requirement Specification (SRS) is frequently evolving to reflect requirements change during project development. Therefore, it needs enhancement to facilitate its authoring and reuse. This paper proposes a framework for building a part of SRS related to information security requirements (ISRs) using ontologies. Such a framework allows ensuring ISRs traceability and reuse. The framewor...
متن کاملAn Integrated Approach to Dependability Requirements Engineering
This paper discusses an approach to system requirements elicitation that integrates safety requirements elicitation and analysis with more general requirements analysis. We propose that the analysis should be organised round pervasive ‘concerns’ such as safety and security which can drive the requirements engineering process. The paper introduces the notion of concerns based on business goals a...
متن کاملDomain Requirements Elicitation and Analysis - An Ontology-Based Approach
Domain requirements are fundamental for software reuse and are the product of domain analysis. This paper presents an approach to elicit and analyze domain requirements based on ontology. Using subjective decomposition method, problem domain is decomposed into several sub problem domains. The top-down refinement method is used to refine each sub problem domain into primitive requirements, which...
